INTRODUCTION Indoor Motor Racing is one of Europe's fastest growing leisure activities and where better to race than in Liverpool (the Capital of Culture 2008), only minutes from the major motorway and just 3 miles from the city centre. Mersey Karting was established in 2000 and features off road parking, changing area, function room, café facilities and a spectator area overlooking a magnificent raceway. You will use the very latest Honda 200cc JB karts and a state of the art race management system will monitor every lap. We provide all of the safety equipment necessary: full face helmets, race suits and gloves (flat soled shoes/trainers are recommended). Whether driven for the first time by novices or pushed to the limit by experts, racing our karts with their simple two pedal controls and light steering is an exhilarating sensation. Whether it be a race meeting or just an "Arrive & Drive" session, you will receive a full safety briefing by one of our senior staff and the circuit is supervised at all times by our team of qualified marshals and our resident experts are always on hand to for you to get the best out of your racing. SAFETY The National Karting Association, "the industry's governing body" hold annual inspections of member circuits and only certify facilities that comply with strict safety regulations of the association and the Health & Safety Executive.
