OUTLINE
Mersey training and education centre has two roles, the first role being that of a management agent. being the management agent, any contracts acquired, being training, building work, housing association contracts or employment, will be managed by mtec and sub contracted out to the companies offering best value and quality provision. mtec has the responsibility to ensure that quality is the key to its success.

Mersey training and educations other role is that of a work based training provider, offering training to socially and educationally excluded children. mtec also provides after school activities and diverse activities, and has always worked with clients who have until now been classed as hard to reach.

MTEC is a work based training provider, working mainly with years 10 and 11, delivering an alternative curriculum. The idea of the project is to bridge the gap in the educational needs for those individuals who would benefit from this additional support provided by MTEC, replacing/ or supporting mainstream education, on a roll on roll off basis.
